So how does this tie into creating value? Simple: If other people say you are valuable, you are valuable.

So how do you get others to believe and invest in you?

You CONFIDE in them. You tell them stories in your marketing. You listen to what they are saying. You share story that paint your faults or embarrassing that they have probably gone through.

What are you doing by confiding in someone else? You are building trust. You need to illustrate that you have actually heard what they are asking. You need to understand what they are going through.
