How to be productive with ADD, HADD, and a Learning Disability!

In today’s world of distraction how can anyone stay focused and be product? Being productive is difficult, but add ADD, HADD, or a learning disability to the mix and being productive becomes near impossible! It is the littlest distraction that ruins your focus. This article will give you the tools and strategy to be as productive as possible with your time. I promise this article will give you the tips you need be focused and productive with attention deficit disorder or a learning disability.

Being productive with your time is about getting stuff done. I don’t care if you just want to do your homework or succeed in your career you need to what you produce before you start. Begin with the end in mind is the first step. You need to know what you want before you do anything else. Most people spend the better part of their life trying to figure what they are going to do rather than picking one thing and keeping the main thing the main thing. Before you go any further in this article identify what it is specifically you want to achieve before you do anything else.

Now that you have selected what it is that you want, you need to understand the basics on being productive:

1. Eliminate all distractions:

What is it that getting in you’re way from getting things done? I know one place that people waste more time than anything else! Cable television! The average American watches 3 plus hour a day of television. If this is your vice, CANCEL THE CABLE!

To start producing more with you time you have to free up your time so you can do what needs to be done. The most productive people remove all the stuff that gets in the way of them achieving success. I know for me my biggest distraction is being social. I love people and being around people. I can spend days pack full of activities with friends. The problem is it takes away from getting the important and not urgent things done in my life. The first step is to eliminate all distraction.

2. Manage your energy:

You cannot management time. You can only management the your energy to focus on the task in front of you. When do you have the most energy in your day? Are you a morning person? Are you a night owl? Pick out the times that you have the most energy in your day to work during those periods were you feel the most focused. Much of productive is putting yourself in the right state of mind to get things done.

3. Make a list:

Have you ever heard it’s as easy as 1, 2,3? Being productive is much of the same thing. Write down 5 things you must get done that day and do them! That easy! Write down a short list and follow that list. Do not make it more difficult than it needs to be.

Being productive with you time is simply a series of small choice that eventually become small changes than finally become your habits. It is your habits that shape your life. Dial into the list above and get stuff done!

Motivation For the UN-Motivated: How to Raise Your Levels of Success, Ambition and Happiness!

If you are anything like myself, you are curious about motivation. You have probably seen people who just reek of success, happiness, and ambition. They might be rich; often it is the smaller things that make the difference. Before I figured out success and happiness, I was one of those unmotivated people that could not figure how to be become motivated. This article is going to give you the step-by-step blueprint for developing your motivation. Consider this your receipt for success.

Before I share with you the blueprint, let's address the most common myths of this subject:

Myth #1: Happiness is a feeling.

Happiness is NOT a feeling. Happiness is a choice, a choice that you have to make every day. Happiness does not come from anything outside of you. It does not come from buying stuff, doing stuff, or anything else. True happiness comes from being grateful for what you have and thankful for what you do have in your life.

Myth #2: Successful people are lucky!

I am sure you have had this conversation. Usually it involves two people talking about someone else who is doing well for him or herself. The subject of what they are doing with their life is brought up and one person says, "Oh, They got lucky!" My response is there is no luck in being successful. There is luck in short-term success. Where someone appears successful for a short period of time, then they fall apart. Know that to be successful you have to earn your success. You have to pay the piper!

Myth #3: Motivation is something you are born with.

Let's face it, some people are motivated and some people are not! This is wrong. Motivation can be developed. But it must start with self-motivation. You have to make the decision one way or another to change your life. It starts with baby steps, small choices that make a difference. Know that motivation comes from within, but it is developed over time.

Here is the blueprint for motivated the unmotivated:

1. Change who you spend the majority of your time with. Your peer group directly relates to your level of motivation in your life. The old saying is true: Birds of a feather flock together! People who share a lot in common like to spend time with together. If you are unhappy the first step is to find a new peer group.

2. Don't think, just work! You have to be prepared to move in new ways. Your emotions follow your motion! If you want to loose weight, DO IT! If you want to make more money, DO IT! Do not waste time in trying to figure something out. Anything you want to accomplish has already been done. You just have to find the ready mentors to show you how.

3. Management your day. I can't tell you how many people spend the majority of their day wasting time! They watch television for hours on end. They go through the motions of life opposed to living life on purpose. They have no goals, no plans, no real map for what they want. They have no set to their sail. Make a plan for what you want. This plan will change constantly, however you have to start by writing down what you want.

The Magic Bullet to Success

There was a study done of sales people who earn more than 250,000 dollars a year, what the study aimed to find out what was the number one factor of success. The study determined the “magic bullet.” This article will share with you the number one factor to success.

What is this “magic bullet” of success? It’s called the Speed of Implementation. Sounds unfamiliar? I never knew about it until I read this information. The speed of implementation is best described as once you learning something, how quickly do you apply that information into your life?

Successful people know that they must take massive action to learn and APPLY what they learn. Unsuccessful people know the same stuff that successful people know, but they never take action on the information.

It that old quote, “Success leaves clues.”

Implementation with speed is a habit. It takes time to develop. Most people never learn how to do this effectively.

Have you ever wondered how certain people get the best results in half the time?

Here is the trick?

Focus effort. They know how to get stuff done quickly and right away.

Here are action steps you can take to improve this area of your life:

1. Focus on getting stuff done, not perfect.
2. Make a to do list every day with only truly important task on it
3. Do it! Cut out all the crap that wastes your focus and energy.

Implementation with speed is a habit. To do learn this “magic bullet” it takes consistent effort to get in done. Focus on doing today!

Why People Are Poor...

In America there is no reason why you should not be building wealth. Consider the vast majority of the world lives on less than two dollars a day. While the average American will see over 2 million dollars pass through their hands in life! This article will break down why I think people are poor in America.

Here is how I look at the word POOR:

Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly

Seriously! Need I say more? We all have many, many, many opportunities in our life times to create wealth. Building wealth is like a rubber ball. You can drop it, but it will not break. It may get lost for a while, however it is not gone.

I have read stories of people collect used soda pop cans at night and earning enough money to pay for 3 of their children’s college education!

Can you think of any opportunities that you looked over?

Here is the thing we must all remember; new opportunities are around us every single day! We create the new opportunities. We have to focus on where we can improve our current situation. Many times it is as simple as making a budget and following it!

The best advice I ever heard about life came from a very wealth business owner here in Indianapolis, he said this advice to his son.

“Pick one business and stick to it. The majority of people spend their lives trying to figure out what they should be doing!”

Again, what poor mean: Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly

I AM FAT!!!!

So I was talking with a prospect the other day and they asked me about a picture they saw of me:

http://www.leadersclub.com/html/john_murphy.asp

MAN WAS I FAT BOY OR WHAT?

The Secrets That Highly Paid Marketers Do NOT Want You to Know About!

Have you ever notice that two people in the same business can have completely different results? How is this possible? How can two people talk to the same prospects, one person has a great conversation and connects on a deep, while one else talks to that prospect and gets no where? How can one because in a given opportunity make 50k a month while some buddy in that same business is making zero!

This article will break down the secrets that Highly Paid Marketers Do NOT Want you to know.

Here is the difference maker: Desire and Value!

People want to work with people who have High Value. Value in marketing or anywhere else comes in three forums: Social Proof, Real value, and manufactured value.

Here is the thing: People want to work with people who can get results! People want to work with people who are similar to them. People want to work with people who have been where they and overcome the same challenges! Most importantly: People want to be significant, and fit in, and be told what to do.

So how does this tie into creating value? Simple: If other people say you are valuable, you are valuable.

So how do you get others to believe and invest in you?

You CONFIDE in them. You tell them stories in your marketing. You listen to what they are saying. You share story that paint your faults or embarrassing that they have probably gone through.

What are you doing by confiding in someone else? You are building trust. You need to illustrate that you have actually heard what they are asking. You need to understand what they are going through. Share the common beliefs. All of these things will be a HUGE amount of trust EVEN BEFORE THEY TALK TO You!

Once people Trust you, you also build authority and more importantly you can CLAIM AUTHORITY! You can also gain authority by others through reputation or legend. This will allow you to get away with and have more control over your market.

Now that we covered some of the basics, how do you actually doing this?

It starts with your marketing. So many people think you have to be making a million dollars a year for people to take you seriously and trust you. The reality is you tell stories in your marketing, you record videos that show your personality. So much more marketing I read and see is just plain boring! Show your personal side. Think about how to act with your friends and family when you are creating marketing. To many people act in a way that comes off as COMPLETELY FAKE!

Build value, build trust, and make TONS of MONEY!

Ideas For A Fun Date

Ideas for a fun date – There are many creative dating ideas that aren’t just the old boring dinner and a movie. Unusual and creative dates are fun, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Just imagine, when your date is asked what they did over the weekend.

Here’s a List of the Top 18 Ideas for a Fun Date:

1) Rent an exotic car and go for a long ride in the mountains or countryside. Convertibles are always popular. Perhaps you can rent a James Bond type vehicle, minus the gadgets, of course.

2) Invite your date to midnight bowling. Some bowling centers call it cosmic bowling.

3) Take an unusual class together. The more unusual the better. Creative dating ideas may include tango lessons, square dancing, beekeeping, origami, or pottery-making.

4) Attend a sporting event and root for the referee. Referees don’t get enough respect. After the game be sure to get their autograph.

5) Crash a party. Many downtown hotels and convention centers have parties or events on weekends. They’ll be a sign with a list of events and their ballroom locations in the lobby. Don’t ask the concierge which ballroom has the best party. It’s usually frowned upon.

6) Play miniature golf. Try something different and play backwards, starting at the last hole and working your way to the beginning.

7) Visit a local alpaca farm or ranch. They’re cute and friendly, and this is one of the most unusual ideas for a fun date.

8) Enjoy a meal at a theme restaurant. Last year my wife and I were on vacation and found an authentic medieval restaurant. Most cities have dinner theatres or murder mystery dinner theatres or some type of theme restaurant.

9) Take a midnight hot air balloon ride, and be sure to dress warmly. Most of the balloon companies offer complimentary champagne.

10) Attend an auction. Go early, to check the items in advance. Auctions are fun, and you’ll never know what you’ll find. Some towns have local auctions, where items sell for as cheap as 25 cents, and big cities may have gallery auctions of fine art. I’ve seen button auctions, folk art auctions, antique bottle auctions, museum auctions, in addition to the standard antique auctions.

11) Play laser tag at a local amusement facility. You’ll get to see how competitive your date can be. Many cities have laser tag franchises you can visit.

12) Attend a casino fun party. These parties may be local charity events or company-sponsored. Most of these parties last for up to three hours, and the food is usually included with admission.

13) Search for buried treasure. Many historical societies will be able to tell you about local lost treasure tales. Rent or borrow a metal detector and bring a small spade to dig up your booty. You might also visit a local beach or park. Be sure to get permission wherever you dig. Watch the power lines! You’ll receive high marks as one of the best ideas for a fun date.

14) Go to the beach and build a sand castle together. Maybe the Taj Mahal?

15) Explore a cave together. Search for a local speleological association to identify to best caves in the area. A few years ago my girlfriend (now wife) took me on a day trip to the Jenolan Caves in Australia while on vacation. It was incredible! This is one of the most creative dating ideas I’ve enjoyed.

16) Volunteer at a local food bank and serve meals. You might even get a free dinner out of the deal, not to mention brownie points for having a good heart.

17) Many local airports offer rides in vintage biplanes. Typically the ride lasts for 10 or 15 minutes. Bring your camera.

18) Go to a kite store, buy kites and fly them in a local park or beach.

Remember, some ideas for a fun date require planning, or even worse, reservations. Others may happen on the spur of the moment. The more creative you are, the more fun you’ll have.

Thinking Inside The Box vs. Thinking Outside The Box by Jedi-Joe

Thinking Inside The Box

• Thinking inside the box means accepting the status quo. For example, Charles H. Duell, Director of the US Patent Office, said, “Everything that can be invented has been invented.” That was in 1899: clearly he was in the box!
• In-the-box thinkers find it difficult to recognize the quality of an idea. An idea is an idea. A solution is a solution. In fact, they can be quite pigheaded when it comes to valuing an idea. They rarely invest time to turn a mediocre solution into a great solution.
• More importantly, in-the-box thinkers are skillful at killing ideas. They are masters of the creativity killer attitude such as “that’ll never work” or “it’s too risky.” The best in-the-box thinkers are unaware that they drain the enthusiasm and passion of innovative thinkers while they kill their innovative ideas.
• They also believe that every problem needs only one solution; therefore, finding more than one possible solution is a waste of time. They often say, “There is no time for creative solutions. We just need THE solution.”
• Even great creative people can become in-the-box thinkers when they stop trying. Apathy and indifference can turn an innovator into an in-the-box thinker.
Thinking Outside the Box

• Willingness to take new perspectives to day-to-day work.
• Openness to do different things and to do things differently.
• Focusing on the value of finding new ideas and acting on them.
• Striving to create value in new ways.
• Listening to others.
• Supporting and respecting others when they come up with new ideas.
• Out-of-the box thinking requires an openness to new ways of seeing the world and a willingness to explore. Out-of-the box thinkers know that new ideas need nurturing and support. They also know that having an idea is good but acting on it is more important. Results are what count.

Keep It E.L.F.™
